Hahaha! I found these rather funny, so I'm posting about it! XD

It was over dinner when my parents told me these stories XD



4D stories as told by my parents:

1) When i was 2 and a half years old, my auntie asked me for 4 random numbers. I gave her '3800' randomly and they bought different combinations of it and won something.

2) When i was around 3, i suddenly turned around and told my dad '7162'. My dad bought 10 big and 10 small for that. The first prize was 2167. O_O. If he had played with the combination, he would have won 50,000 dollars!! LOL :(

3) Today, the last four numbers of my IC number came out as first prize. '9724' Apparently, my dad had wanted to buy it since it was the month of my birthday. Awww...

Maybe i should try buying it someday :P the second story kind of creeped my out. XD Imagine your kid daughter suddenly turning around out of the blue to tell you to buy 4 numbers -.- I guess my dad was pretty freaked out by those occurrences too since he remembers the numbers ><


Childhood stories:

1) My parents wondered if there was something wrong with me as a kid at three years old. I kept writing ORBIT on papers with the R flipped (mirror image form). Right smack in the middle too. Dad " I was trying to solve the mystery behind it." LOL. He finally did solve it. I was tracing the words on the original paper. XD I think the brand of the paper was ORBIT with an inverse R, so there was a watermark on every piece. My parents couldn't see it until they held it up to the light. XD Hahaha! Maybe that was the beginning of my Astronomy interest :P I still remember those papers, after they told me about it ^^ They were really really REALLY fun to trace XD

2) My nephew (son of my cousin) who's living in Amsterdam, UK now is...around 3 years younger than me? I was close to him before they left for the UK. There was the picture of me at...4 and him at 1, sitting on a carpet in the living room (now the tv area). I had worn a plastic sieve on his head as a cap with the handle sticking out in front. XD He looked so retarded :X Also, around that time, I had taken him to my mum's room. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED :D (hint: my mum almost burst a vessel ><)
I had shown him the latest interior decor craze in my world - stuffing tissues of paper in to nooks all around the room and spraying them with my mum's assortment of perfumes. XD I think that was at least 50 dollars worth of perfume wasted by us in....half and hour? XD




Hahaha! Kids...>< I sort of miss being one :( Immature and annoying....but still....innocent.
Hehe, i think we all have embarrassing childhood stories XD But it's rather funny to hear them when your parents tell you about it - their exasperation after all these years is the source of entertainment ^^

Secondly. OMFG I'VE GOT BANGS. I told him "I want a fuller fringe that starts further from the left". I got a fuller fringe alrighty. BANGS!!!

As I've told her, since my childhood dream of being an Astronaut is impossible, I want to work in a media related field - which no courses in the sg Universities will give (unless you count mass comm...but journalism and all that is really not my cup of tea><)
So when if i drop out, I have an idea of which Poly course I'll want to go to :)

I WENT TO ORCHARD ION AGAIN TODAY WITH MY PARENTS! :) Finally bought some shorts that I've been wanting for a looong time. ^^ Uniqlo  gave me the type that i wanted (Not micro till your butt cheeks could be seen, and not so long that they can almost pass off as berms.)
They have fold-able hems, so i can adjust the hem length according to my mood ^^.
I got purple and grey :)

Oh, (not likely but) if anyone has not been there, either bring a bento or be prepared to fork out an insanely large sum for a so-so plate at the 'Food Opera'. -.- Over-priced and definitely not worth it. I'd just grabbed a plate and dumped a few items on it and asked for a plate of beehoon and it chalked up a bill of 11.50 -.-

Anyway! Tomorrow, I'm going to Escape Theme Park! Possibly the lamest theme park to ever exist but since my friend has a free ticket, we're accompanying her there. ^^ Maybe it would have changed since I was last there (around....7 years ago?)

I'm feeling so guilty for going out for 3 many days in a row even though it's the September holidays. :(

You know something is seriously screwed up when you feel guilty for enjoying yourself during the holidays.

Well...i could certainly do with a little less dajare (but not totally none XD that wouldn't be our Junno!), but he's another laid back person who doesn't take offence easily and bonds KAT-TUN together 'against' him XD His height and boyish looks certainly adds to his charms too :) Not to forget, that blinding smile X_X
Oh! And of course, his trademark dajare+juggling+tap dancing. He's got to be the only one who can make such goofy stuff so interesting :)

6)Nakamaru Yuichi

Bibiri Maru-kun! XD His beatboxing is remarkable (although his dance-style isn't really my favourite type ^^) and so is his voice :) I love White World!!! Hahaha~ And he's such a comedian. KAT-TU bullies him but he just takes it in his stride and laughs along ^^ I love this grandmother of the group ^^

5)Ueda Tatsuya

Try finding another guy who whacks the tennis ball right into the guest coach's groin. :P
Or shows off his manly side by doing pushups on his knuckles and than ruin it with a victory sign right after.
He's a legend XD

Jin's bestfriend and we all know he's just as baka:P Daite Senorita was on repeat for a long time and 'kon kon' was stuck in my head too! Although, i prefer his straight her (eg. proposal daisakusen and kurosagi) then the current perm :S He should have straight hair in buzzer beat too! :(

He's the other half of Akame! XD Haha, but seriously...his voice is freaking awesome too :) I like his voice best in the 'raw' and 'falsetto' moments. Although, i personally think Kame has a more unique voice, Jin's control is awesome ^^

I can't say EXACTLY why i love him so much...but I guess it's just a combination of everything! Just came back from Visual Arts ^^ Today was the last lesson for Fashion Design :( Pity...I was enjoying it. Maybe i'll post some pics of my rather failed attempt at Fashion Design later on XD

Fandom has made me a happy person. (Gazillion time that i've said this.)
So it has been a really long while since I'd felt like shit enough to contemplate suicide or something along those lines.

But i know it's a dumb thing that does not solve any problems.
Yet, the thoughts just keep COMING.

Using sleepiness to cover up for these bouts of weird depressed moods is really effective. When you give them a 'sleepy' face, most people won't talk to you, and you're not expected to smile or be excited about anything.

Maybe, when i wake up tomorrow, I won't even remember most of today.
Or yesterday.
Or the day before.
Or the entire year.

Maybe, I won't have to think about the day after.
Or the day after that.
Or everything else that lies ahead.




But what's final is that I know that suicide/self-mutilation is dumb and as much as the thoughts might come, I WON'T do it.

Surviving today means I'm one day closer to attending a KAT-TUN concert and meeting them in real life.
That's the only thing I look forward to currently.

This has got to be the only time of the year when i feel mildly patriotic. :)
I've got to say that, despite disliking quite a few aspects of Singapore, I would miss some terribly too, if i got my wish and migrated to Japan :3

This has to be the longest I've gone without touching livejournal other than the time I was overseas. :(
I'm lagging behind 4 days in KT news :(
Usually, if I miss a day, I'd catch up the next day no matter how tired I am.
*sighs*

I've been feeling bloody tired this entire week.
Rushed out EoM draft 2 on Sunday and slept at 5.45am. Woke at 6.30 am and surprisingly, I felt rather alive in school. :D It was on Tuesday and Wednesday that i felt like dying in lessons even though I had around 5-6 hours of sleep on each day. The usual. AND THEN ON THURSDAY NIGHT :D I slept at 5 again!!! The retarded school gave the entire class like less than a week to rush out a video for some inter-class competition for our National Day Celebration which was on Friday. And our equally retarded teacher wants us to hand in PW Written Report Draft 1 on Friday morning TOO!
And VirtualDub just refused to hardsub my softsubs into the video. :)

Anyway, I brought the softsubs in my thumbdrive to school with the video.
No surprise when the softsubs didn't play. I'd brought the K Lite Codec installation exe along in my thumbdrive but there wasn't time to install it. In fact, the first laptop i tried playing it on didn't even play the visual of the video. Talk about lousy laptops man. :( They should leave their laptops with me for a day so that i can download all those required codecs for them -.-

The celebration was pretty cool. Not the so-called "national day parade", but the video competition part. Since Junior Colleges are lacking in Uniform Groups, the only parade squad we had was the flag party. Lol. Talk about miserable. XD The competition part was sweet though. Well, the second runner up's documentary was pretty funny the first time, but not quite so the 2nd time. The first runner up's video was made from stickman cartoons drawn on fulscap. It was really sweet, playing to home. But really...it gets boring after the same pictures are repeated with every chorus. The teachers probably thought it was innovative. They should so sneak a peek at the lecture notes of their students. :) They'd see the same cute stickman drawings and many more. :)

When the words went up the screen (with a voice reading it), it seems like the usuall Singaporean complaining about Singapore.
But at the end, it said "This is the thinking of many Singaporeans, and we need to reverse it."
The the words started scrolling down in reverse order and the lines were read from the bottom up.
I was like "Cool Shit Cool Shit!! This is Cool Shit!! XD" To Wang Kee.
When read in reverse, it could probably be one of the most patriotic passages ever.
The most inspiring palindrome I've ever seen.

Our class was supposed to go to East Coast Park after the celebrations (Visual Arts Exco meeting got cancelled last minute. -.- The president probably wanted to go out with her own class. -.-)
I'd wanted to go home to sleep a little before heading out to join them at East Coast Park.
But then, they changed it to Ion. -.- The newly opened SHOPPING CENTER at Orchard Road. -.-
We're students man! Like what can we afford there??
The highest floors has shops like Gucci and LV -.-
Well, we ate at a Japanese restaurant ( :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD) there. We sat on high chairs and had our individual hot plate where our pot of Teppanyaki, Sukiyaki, or Shabu Shabu (didn't have this at that time though) were served. :)
I shared Beef Rice Teppanyaki and Salmon Sukiyaki with Wang Kee. :)

I'm dragging my parents back there one day. XD
But still, eating at a shopping center (even though it's at town area -.-) is still a pretty pathetic class outing.
Apparently, it was Samantha who complained, saying that she didn't want to 'sweat so much'. -.-

The worst part is, music is still coming through the earpiece. It's just that i have no way of attaching it to my head/ear as the earpiece broke of the part supporting it :(

And this HAD to happen just when my iPod decided to behave and work for me!

I'll have to make do with my phone for now i guess. :( It's battery life is MISERABLY short when i listen to music on it though :S

I'm striking Kame of the top of my wishlist for now. All i want is a new set of headphones. :(

MY RESULTS SUCK ASS MAN!! :D

I FAILED MATH AND ECONS!!:D

AMAZINGLY, my highest score is General Paper >.>'' A surprising B! (Although i just scraped it with a 60.5/100) The section that usually kills me (comprehension) got me my B by scoring 34.5/50 ^^ Highest in class!! Haha! XD I was so happy, thinking along the lines of  "my worst segment is almost an A!!" But reality came crashing down with the horrible composition segment. -.- 26/50. I just scrapped a pass. URGH. I SUCK at factual writing because I can't REMEMBER those random facts that i read from the newspapers!! :( Not that i read the news that much anyway, but definitely more so than last time. -.-
*sighs*
I comfort myself thinking that at least the overall score is still the highest in class. A rather pathetic low end B. XD Goes to show that either 1) the test was really difficult or 2) the general knowledge and english prowess of my class sucks.
I think it's probably the general knowledge part though XD

Next!~ Is Chemistry!~ I'm half a mark away from a B. 59.0/100 (originally 41.5/70) I could bash myself up for this. :( I lost marks at several rather retarded places that could have gotten me an A. :( And it's supposed to be a rather easy paper. *SIGHS* I'm going to have to work my ass off for this subject soon. Originally my favourite science topic, it's facing the butt of my interest persona now. There's so much annoying calculations involved. Exactly half my class failed this(below 45/100). XD The teacher almost wanted to cry, as my class was the worst performing among all her classes. Ok fine, so it's partly our fault for not paying 100% attention in class. But can you blame us? She's a motherf***ing hypocritical smartmouthed thinks-she's-all-that bitch. She asks us to take part in active learning by asking question and when we do, she says she doesn't want to teach us and told us to go find out ourselves. O_O Wow!~ I wonder what she's paid for. Anyway!~ ^^ Horrible teachers aside, this subject with all it's calculations is starting to suck too ^.^

Following up is Biology with another C(57/100)!~ I'm actually quite happy with this seeing as how i crammed around 200 pages of information in my head in 4 days and only had around 3 hours of sleep the night before. ^^. And everything that i studied for Virus Genetics and Genome Structure just flew away from me when i opened the paper. ^^ It might be attributed to the fact that i had crammed these really big topics topics together on the day right before the exam. XD Again, half the class failed this paper! My class rocks eh? :D Quoted from the Biology teacher that has just taken over my class when our old teacher left to further his research : "20/09 is a challenging class to teach. It has the extremely good ones and extremely weak ones." Well. Yeah, a challenge alright. ^.^ Twice the amount of topics will be tested at the end of this year. Maybe EVERYONE will fail next time! ^^

Urgh. Next is Chinese with and E(49/100). Damn school! Why didn't the count in the oral and listening segment?!!?! I would have gotten a C (55.5/100) if they had counted it in!! >( And Chinese would finally have been a subject that PULLED up my average (as compared to it dragging my average down by a considerably large margin for the past 10 years of my school life). *sighs* IT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE SAME GRADE AS MY CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY!!!That must be a first!!! My Chinese actually being ANYWHERE near on par with my sciences. >.>'' My oral was my major saving point too. :( They just HAD to exclude it huh. *sighs* Ah well, atleast it's still a pass. ^.^

BLOODY MATHS NOW!!!:D I SERIOUSLY HATE MATHS IN JUNIOR COLLEGE. HAVE I ESTABLISHED THAT??^^ I think I've said this like a million times but: Whoever invented the topic of APGP should just drop dead and die. :D If dead already: revive and DIE AGAIN! :D

So future aspring mathematicians, watch out. -.- Math just happens to be the topic I'm the msot frequently annoyed with as i find most of it unapplicable to real life situations. It might be the cheapest science but in my opinion, the crappiest.
If i had note made any careless mistakes, I would have scrapped a D (50/100) but guess what! As always, the world of my math exam script is over-populated by careless mistakes!~ :D So it's a U(39/100). UNGRADED. OMG. *headbangs* Pulling an optimistic thought out of this one was rather tough. In the end i went with : Atleast you got the highest possible U. One more mark and it's an S! Go Xiao Dan! -.-
Anyway, I've just switched tuitions. It's now twice a week at Bras Basah. Let's see how it goes. My new tuition made me roflmao when he said "I like students from Anderson Junior College as you guys are rather easy to teach. But I will like you guys more if your school papers weren't such a ******." Quite true. XD Our school takes pride in killing us with Math papers. :D The average across the level's around 30/100 :D

Ok, think Math was bad? THINK ECONS! :D UNGRADED TOO! 36/100! Hahaha! Ms Zaiton and Ms Chin is going to be appalled with the score of my Arts subject. XD There was only a single pass from my class though, with majority of us in the U range. ^^ The highest i know of from another class is a C. That person should just quite school and go be an economist already. XD Even though i screwed Econs the worst, I'm still finding it the hardest to stay awake in Econs lectures. :( There's just SOMETHING with the teachers and their monotonous voices that sounds like a lullaby to my ears. It's like................Secondary school Biology and Mrs Veda all over again! - The reason why i hated Biology previously and why bio = nap sessions previously. *sighs*


Well, I think that's about all. ^^

I should stop typing too. :(
I've still yet to complete my chemical energetics tutorial and Hess' Law is screwing with me.
